In today’s world, we run here and there, frantically trying to keep up with our busy work schedules. Work can be a bothersome mess, stress is part of daily life, et cetera. Relationships, too, may not provide solace and can be stressful themselves so that sometimes, you might just be hanging on by your fingernails. Where does all of our time flee to? With this kind of hassle to deal with on a daily basis, it’s easy to forget who and what we are. However, we can find and center ourselves once again by doing things we enjoy.

However, we need serenity and peace of mind to function in our daily lives. There’s no sense in just waiting for the next thing to happen without trying to calm down the frenzy we are already experiencing. If we do that, we’ve simply given into the stress we experience and the resulting confusion. If that happens, there’s no telling what else will happen. Relationships will suffer, and so will work.

What can we do to reconnect and get some peace of mind become even if just for a short while? Nature is one way to do this. To soothe yourself, simply take a walk in nature and experience all its beauty up close once again. We can again connect to miracles here, if we want to. What can be more uplifting than experiencing a miracle, and also have wildlife’s beautiful creatures along for the ride with us?

I find that horseback riding has a special feeling to it. There is a bit of joy and solace knowing that you are riding on top of a giant animal that has roamed free for hundreds of years. The horse is an animal that the American Indians have revered and lived in the presence of since they came into existence. Horses love, feel and work hard and they love the wild just as much as you do.

The Rocky Mountains offer the horseback rider scenery that can only be seen in works of art. The land is alive with all of God’s wonder and miracles. Once you mount your mighty steed and ride slowly through the brush and approach that open plains that open up to view the mountains you could ask for no better backdrop. Your horse will enjoy the easy pace as you ride slow through the brush. You can take in the scenery of the Rocky Mountain in the best possible way.

However, if you choose, you don’t have to just have a slow and easy ride. Gallop in from the plains as you go to the Rocky Mountains if you choose. If your horse is able, you can even do a bit of mountain climbing on easy trails so that you can see breathtaking views of the world around you. The scenery itself seems to go on forever. The American Indians say that this area is a place for living spirits. You’ll see what they mean and will feel it, too. The spirits of the ancient ancestors will give you a sense of peace, clarity and well being.
