By examining all those, you will have a better idea on the type of parrot best suited to your means. Remember keeping African parrots is not short term, their life span in captivity can reach 30 to 50 years.
African Parrots Diet.
Feed for African parrots is varied, though not all is known of their complete feeding habits, but this mixed diet works well, pear, apple, sprouts, cabbage, butter beans, split peas, mung, chick peas, beans, sunflower seeds, safflower, millet, oats and pine nuts. You can add vitamin or mineral supplement but not necessary if the nutritional needs are met of the parrot.
