Today you have hundreds of different holiday villas in France to select from when you are considering vacationing in this area of Europe. Along with offering you some great wines and foods to taste, you also have the chance to enjoy some beautiful scenery and historic locations as well. 1. French Riviera - This is a part of France where the rich and famous like to come so the chances of you spotting one of your favorite celebrities are increased. You can either select to have a property that is located in the rolling hills looking down over the Mediterranean. But which offer you the peace and tranquillity but you are still only a short distance from the beaches, cafes and restaurants.

2. Provence - An area of France where you can live the French dream during your vacation. Along with fields covered in lavender this region of France has plenty more to offer to its visitors. Here you can try some really beautiful looking and tasting food.

3. Loire Valley - Many of the villas here although offer all the modern conveniences one should expect, they still retain plenty of the old world charm as well. Along with the region being well renowned for growing some of the best grapes and producing some really great tasting wines, this area has so much more to offer you. Why not spend a few hours wandering around it old Gothic towns or take a bike and just cycle along its quiet country lanes.

4. Normandy - This area of France has had a somewhat turbulent past and yet still offers you the chance to relax and unwind and forget about life back home. There is plenty for one to do and see when visiting this part of France from the beaches where the D-Day landings took place during the Second World War to beautiful towns or villages. Plus why not spend time trying out some of the local fish and cheeses as well.

Once you have made a decision on where in France it is you would, like to vacation should you then spend time arranging your accommodation. It is a good idea to carry out as much research as possible before hand and compare all the different types of accommodation on offer before you make that all important booking.

If you are looking to save yourself money when arranging your holiday villa accommodation in France if you can try and book it well in advance of your vacation dates. Sometimes just booking a few months prior to the trip could save you quite a bit of money on the rental price. Also, if you are someone who is able to be flexible when it comes to booking the dates for holiday villas in France and you can go off-season then this could save you money as well.
