Becoming a horse trainer is a very challenging career choice in my opinion. I have been making video tapes of a trainer in my area and so have done with him to visit many clients. People who hire horse trainers pay good money for them but have high expectations. You need a lot of experience with horses before becoming a trainer because you’re going to see a lot of different situations that can be dangerous and challenging. And people expect results. If you don’t deliver you aren’t going to get called back. I would suggest finding a local rescue ranch and volunteering there to get some experience with horses if this is something a person is interested in. That gives you a lot of exposure and chances to solve horse problems.
