The development in the technology has paved way for new technical gadgets. Now it’s the time for convergence in the technology, which enables the best features to congregate in single instrument or gadget. It helps the customers get rid of the complexities. iPhones are the typical example for this. It is the kind of mobile phone that embeds all the qualities of information, communication and entertainment.

As the best technology in the market for 2007/8, iPhone come with many special features. iPhone has been an unremitting part of breathtaking newspaper articles which covers the iPhone reviews in big flashes. The question that remains is: Has the Apple iPhone lived up to the hype? Well, it has ushered in a whole new generation of mobile phones.

The most attractive part of the Apple iPhone is its 3.5″ touch screen display, which has a high resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. For people with never-ending hunger for music, this phone will stand tall. The phone has inherited most of the goodies of a typical iPod, plus it also features mobile connectivity to sites like iTunes, to browse, buy and download music. The 3.5 inches screen is a visual delight - don’t be surprised if you see the screen changing from portrait to landscape, if you hold iPhone horizontally! It is the Accelerometer feature of the phone.

Interestingly, even though the Apple iPhone is a smart phone, 3G has not been incorporated into it. It is a pity that even while downloading music, you have to do so at the speed of a 2G mobile device. Other than a 2G phone, it only has a 2 megapixel camera without the flash and auto focus features. Another disappointment is the battery life of the iPhone. One wishes that the creators of the Apple iPhone had taken into account the power consuming nature of the brilliant LCD screen.

iPhone is launch in USA with phone locked with AT&T in January 2007. At this moment, iPhone can be found in United Kingdom, Germany and France. At the end of 2008, iPhone is expected to come to Asia as an unlocked version.

But sidelining all such facets, Apple iPhone has come up with great mark and has hit the market with tremendous returns. The standard cost of the iPhone extends between $400-$500 USD. While, few nags for its high pricing, the rest are contented with the high pricing in lieu of an outstanding gizmo with latest built in features. Seeking the remarkable growth and responses from the market, the company is getting ready for the next roller coaster ride. It is expected that the new iPhone, which operates on faster 3G cellular networks, will be introduced in 2008.
