Bellagio is a 3400+ room AAA Five Diamond award winning hotel and casino resort located on the famous Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The resort opened on October 15, 1998. The design of Bellagio was inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy and features an eight-acre lake located between the hotel and the strip. Bellagio is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring resorts on the Las Vegas strip.

Bellagio was built with true European architecture and interior design. This magnificent hotel has upscale luxurious rooms, shopping and top of the line gourmet restaurants throughout the property. The glass ceilings in this casino provide natural lighting, which separates it from all the other casinos

The main visual attraction this casino is known for is the stunning fountains located in front of the premises. There is no cost at all for the show and the times run from Monday-Friday, 3 p.m.- midnight, Saturday and Sunday, noon-midnight. The fountains run every half-hour until 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes after that until midnight. However, the fountains are occasionally closed during high winds.

Guest’s rooms contain a flat screen television with pay per view movies, mini bar and in room safe. There are a number of up market stores in the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas complex, including Tiffany and Chanel. Guests can enjoy the use of six different swimming pools. There are several restaurants, including the award winning Le Cirque, a French cuisine experience by the lake. Japanese and Chinese restaurants are also first class and there is a traditional steakhouse.

The Spa and Salon offers a range of treatments for guests of the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas, including facials, yoga and water massages. There are also fitness equipment and weight machines for a good workout. A personal instructor is on hand to give advice.

The poker room attracts professional poker players, who take advantage of the high table limits. The venue has hosted the World Poker Tour tournaments. It is rare for a Las Vegas hotel to have a permanent show but the Cirque du Soleil’s production of ‘O’ is outstanding. It’s an aquatic show, featuring synchronized swimmers, divers and acrobats. It’s a combination of street theater, folklore traditions, martial arts and circus fire stunts.
